Career Counselling

Throughout the year, our Career Counsellor visits our school to meet with high school students individually to discuss their high school plans and to develop transition plans for after high school. She is also available to answer any questions that parents/guardians have about their child's academic and career planning. Our Career Counsellor provides a variety of services to our students:

  • Planning high school courses
  • Career assessments & interest inventories
  • Researching occupations and current labour market trends
  • Post-secondary planning and applications
  • Writing a resume, cover letter and other help with job prep
  • Finding and applying for scholarships and other sources of funding

Mrs. Kotowich-Dubrule's schedule is posted in the school newsletter each month, so students can know when she will be at the school. Parents and students are also welcome to request an appointment with our Career Counsellor by either contacting the school or Mrs. Kotowich-Dubrule directly at 780-614-7803 or email her at kotosusa@sperd.ca
